A killer emulator with two controllers and all the classic games... what's not to love?Well... It just didn't work from the start and things became worse from there.Never could get a second player to work on any game. If so, why two controllers and two USB Bluetooth transmitters? Worked for hours to try to link a second controller. No go.Tried using a USB keyboard to adjust controller settings... since, without a controller there is nothing you can do. Try finding the "Select" or "start" key on your keyboard. My tech savvy son gave up too.During this process, I somehow disabled the ability to start any game. Huh? All I did was try to setup a controller. Attempts to enable all the different buttons on a controller failed.No power button?!??!?!? How do I turn it on? Oh, classic. Unplug it and plug it back in.Finally... Factory Reset. Appropriately named "Danger Zone". Yep, bricked the console. I've had more hours trying to get thing to work than actually playing games.I'm sad about the system not working. At least I have an SD with a package of ROMs and Emulators.Other thoughts:I actually have some good things to say... yet...but...however:Compact, low power, and silent. How something this powerful is silent is amazing. But... it is goofy looking.Huge selection of games, but.... a lot of duplicates and versions that are provided both as PAL and NTSC. If you are a archival purist and want every release of a game this ROM set is for you. Kudos to providing a large offering of games, yet, calling the offering 60,000+ games is misleading. Having the same game in 27 different versions is nuts.Two controllers, however, eh.... you know.A confusing amount of options and no literature.Why are there so many amazing options yet not the ability to have two controllers? Didn't work on even the Atari 2600!Even the emulation community seems to feel that... well you get what you pay for and you don't know how to run emulation. Yes, that's right, I don't want to know how to run emulation. I want something plug and play.My credentials: I know enough about emulation. I own a Tankstick from X-Arcade which I use to run games on a hacked original Xbox that is ~22 years old. That still works with 90% of what I want. Guess I'll stick with that. I was hoping for an HDMI connection and wireless controllers. Oh, I also setup running emulators on a spare PC with the Tankstick. That worked perfectly until a Windows update somehow caused it to stop. New front end, config changes, no luck. My tech savvy son thought it would be simple.
