I bought these as party favors for my 11-year-old son's birthday party. The items did not disappoint! The game is like Boggle, only in miniature version, and the kids had a great time with it. The only drawback is that the plastic cover does not come off (like how it does in Boggle). This means that after you shake it to mix up the letter cubes, you have to jiggle it a little to get all the cubes to settle because some will tend to lie at an angle until you jiggle it. Not a big deal, but it would just be easier if you could open the plastic cover and fix the cubes that need to be fixed.These are fun, cute, and make a great center for my classroom. However, they will crack if dropped. The cracks that I've seen are small, the clear plastic doesn't fall apart but you can see the small cracks running through. I really like Boggle and this is a mini version, although there have been many times when there just aren't enough vowels to make more than a couple words. I used this in my k-2 class, and my first and second graders were able to enjoy it. These would make a great party favor.Had to hot glue tops back on, but otherwise great game for little ones to build words withSuper duper tiny word puzzle game, but good for price. I got a couple sets of 12, enough for my 1st grade class. Some mornings for bell work, I give them to the students to find words. They write the words they find down in their journal. It's good because each student can find something, from easy words to more challenging ones.What a great deal! Can’t wait to use during my ELA centers! Love the colors of the bases too!Product is as expected. I like the size.Looks a lot like Boggle, but when you try to play the game, you will find that the Chinese have no idea about the importance of vowels in the English language, so often you are lucky if you can make one or two words. Sometimes no vowels turned up, so I could make NO words. Once again, the Chinese needed someone who understood English to look at their product before they tried to sell it!They look cheap and the letters aren't very good for making a lot of words. They shouldn't have included Z, Q, K, etc.
