If you are looking at this review, you are one of the few people who knows who Kevin Peek was. He was in the super group Sky in the late 1970s and early 1980s with Rick Wakeman (Yes), Herbie Flowers, Tristan Fry, John Wiiliams and Francis Monkman. The band had a No. 83 hit in 1981 with "Toccata" (Bach's "Toccata and Fugue in D-Minor"), so Peek used that success to record this outstanding solo disc. Produced by Alan Tarney of the Tarney-Spencer Band, the LP came out around the same time as Leo Sayer's "More Than I Can Say" single and Cliff Richard's "Dreaming," both of which Tarney produced. If you are looking for melodic, up-tempo, pop-rock instrumental music that pre-dated most New Age music, this is for you.
